چکیده

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is one of the most financially important vegetable crops. It a species belonging to Solanaceae family and cultivated in many countries, including Turkey. The natural presence ‘Candidatus Phytoplasma solani’ (‘Ca. P. solani’) from Stolbur group (16SrXII) tomato plants extensively characterized based on 16S rRNA gene worldwide. displaying abnormality sterility flower, purpling, bushy appearance were observed Van province, DNA extraction leaves was performed, extracted used amplify sequences using universal primer pairs by double PCR assays. After confirming probable agent solani’), nested testing performed an appropriate set amplifying SecY Vmp1 genes same DNAs. Amplified yields then cloned into pGEM T-Easy vector sequenced New Generation System (NGS). Sequenced 1438 bp nucleotides for (MN104838) 905 (MN125054) revealed 97.38% 100% maximum nucleotide similarity with formerly published ‘Ca. belonged (16Sr-XII), respectively. According phylogenetic tree created our solani’, Vmp1, showed highly affinity Serbia France, To best knowledge, this study first report reveal relationships stolbur (16Sr XII-A) plant Turkey non-ribosomal genes.

'Candidatus Phytoplasma mali', 'Candidatus Phytoplasma pyri' and 'Candidatus Phytoplasma prunorum', the causal agents of apple proliferation, pear decline and European stone fruit yellows, respectively.

Apple proliferation (AP), pear decline (PD) and European stone fruit yellows (ESFY) are among the most economically important plant diseases that are caused by phytoplasmas. Phylogenetic analyses revealed that the 16S rDNA sequences of strains of each of these pathogens were identical or nearly identical. Differences between the three phytoplasmas ranged from 1.0 to 1.5% of nucleotide positions...

Molecular Identification of Helicobacter pylori and IceA Genes Frequency from Dental Plaques Isolated from People Using PCR Method

Background and Aims: Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a gram-negative, microaerophilic, spiral-shaped flagellated bacterium that is urease, catalase and oxidase positive. One of its pathogenicity factors is the iceA gene. H. pylori has recently been recognized as a genetic indicator for the development and evolution of duodenal ulcer disease in the East. This study aimed to determine the pres...
